Clifton Hill Primary School is a government school that has a 140-year history of service to the local community. 615 students attend the school with a wide ranging abilities and backgrounds that are supported by quality educators in core subjects and creative areas. Students come from Clifton Hill, Brunswick and neighboring suburbs. It is a school where students with disabilities are not just tolerated, they are welcomed. Students are taught the value of inclusiveness, developing tolerance, kindness and acceptance, and delighting in the diversity of our community.
Funding raised will enable the school to introduce a pottery program. This will provide creative expression and motor skill dexterity for students. The positive benefits, developing children’s minds and bodies, increase their confidence and capability whilst students learn artistic techniques working with the soothing properties of clay.
