Bookings can be made online via each movie listing.
Visit the Program page for more information.
All bookings are final and we do not refund or exchange tickets for a mistaken booking or change of mind. Refunds and exchanges will not be made for inadvertently booking the wrong session. Please check the session details carefully on each page of the booking process. The session date, time and film title are clearly stated.
Refunds will not be given for a cancellation or termination due to adverse weather conditions, but replacement tickets are offered.
For full details of our refund policy please refer to our Terms and Conditions.
If the session has not previously sold out then there will be tickets available at the box office on the night.
However we recommend booking online to ensure you don’t miss out! There is a limit of 60 tickets per session.
Each patron is provided with a set of High Quality Stereo Wireless Headphones. Every headset is equipped with its own volume control dial so patrons can alter their volume to their liking.
The headphones can only be used with our equipment and are programmed to receive a UHF frequency from our transmitter located in the Cinema. Patrons are reminded to ensure they are on the correct channel and that their volume control is turned up.
At the end of the film, patrons will be required to return the wireless headphones to the box office.
Please note that patrons are required to deposit a credit card in their name when checking-in for security purposes. Your credit card will be handed back once the headphones are returned to the box office. If you do not have a credit card, photo ID will be sufficient.
You will be able to check-in from 7.30pm when the box office and cinema opens.
All ticket prices are $10 per person. With a limit of 60 patrons for each screening, we recommend you book online early to avoid disappointment.
All proceeds from the ticket sales will go towards VicDeaf.
The Barkly Square Open Air Cinema is an all-weather outdoor event that will go ahead in most weather conditions. Films will still be screened if it rains intermittently, so bring wet weather gear just in case of showers.
Screenings will only be cancelled if the weather poses a safety threat to patrons and staff. We try to cancel as early as possible, however as weather conditions are unpredictable, we may have to cancel close to or during the screenings. Patrons accept the risk that weather they consider unsatisfactory may occur on a screening night and acknowledge that tickets will not be re-validated unless a screening is cancelled.
If an event is cancelled for any reason, we will advise ticketholders via email and on our social media channels with as much notice as possible. If a session is cancelled for any reason, you will then be able to use your tickets to re-book for another session.
Along with your tickets, we recommend bringing an extra layer for when the sun goes down. We’d also recommend bringing along a blanket to stay cosy.
