Today, The Lost Dogs’ Home cares for over 31,000 dogs and cats every year and is Australia’s largest animal shelter. The Lost Dogs home provide a wide range of animal welfare and community services including:

• Animal management and pound services for local governments throughout Australia

• Shelter and adoption service for cats and dogs

Any funds raised will assist with their Behavior Rehabilitation Program – In this program the Home’s shelter staff work with unclaimed dogs that have unsocial behaviours, or are in need of obedience training to prepare them for adoption. Many dogs require extra time to unlearn some bad habits, overcome debilitating behaviors such as severe shyness or just to learn some basic manners that will make them more appealing when up for adoption and help their transition into a new home.
