We are excited to announce that Barkly Square will be undergoing upgrades to our car park and amenities to enhance your shopping experience.
These improvements are part of our ongoing commitment to provide you with a more convenient, comfortable, and enjoyable visit.
What’s changing?
Carpark Upgrades:
- New Line Markings
- Replacement of Traffic Signage
- Asphalt of the Whole Carpark
Amenities Upgrades:
- Modern Restrooms: Both amenity blocks including the Parent’s Room will undergo a complete refurbishment, which will include modern fixtures and improved cleanliness standards.
- Updated Entry Corridor: The Barkly Street entry corridor will be upgraded to provide a more welcoming and accessible entrance.
When will the changes occur?
Carpark Upgrades:
The carpark upgrade works will be completed in 5 stages with stage 2 works currently underway.
UPDATE:
Stage 1 is now complete. There is new permit signage at the back end of the car park. Please note that this permit area is for retail staff and tenants.
Stage 2 is now closed near Westin Street as we improve the line markings potholes.
Thank you for your patience as we progress through the car park upgrades.
The entire project is scheduled to be completed in October 2025.
During the upgrade period, certain sections of the carpark will be temporarily closed and there may be temporary disruptions to parking.
Amenities Upgrades:
Each amenities block will be closed off during the renovation, one a time.
UPDATE:
The refurbishment of the amenities block near McDonald’s is now completed and open for use.
The amenities block down the Bakers Delight corridor is expected to commence later in the year.
